Wondershare is known for its quality PC tools, and photo recovery is no different. This software is filled with options like image output size, preview before recovery, and recovery estimation. It also comes at a slightly lower price point than other software, at only $29.95 retail price. Photo recovery is easy to use, has excellent support, and gets the job done.

Ease of Use:
Wondershare Photo Recovery has all of the standard features that most recovery programs boast: support for multiple devices, multiple file types, and image preview ability. However, that the software is available at a low price for both Mac and PC is its best feature.
Effectiveness:
The software had a complete recovery rate for .jpeg and all other common file types. The only area where we had issues was when we tried to recover hd video, much of the file was corrupted.
Support/Documentation:
Wondershare is a Chinese company, which is why they can offer software at such a low price – their support on the other hand… not so much.
The Bottom Line
If you are on a budget and do not want to spend the $40 plus for a software like Stellar Photo Recovery, we recommend giving Wondershare a shot. It’s free to try, so there is really no reason not to.
